CAUSEY BOAT WORKS
1/25 Scale Motorized Models of Tankers and Containers
This is a 1/25 working scale model of the TREIN
MAERSK. The model is 25 feet in length, has a beam of 3 feet
and draws 12 inches. It is powered by a one horsepower electric motor and
has a 9 inch diameter propeller. The model weighs 700 pounds and can run
about 6 knots.

These models were built by Captain Ted Causey, a member
of the Virginia Pilots Association. "These 1/25 scale motorized
models handle very similarly to real ships". Ted Causey
